Here are 3quick tips for saving money at the grocery store.

1.  Always make a list. When you are pinching pennies it is easy to buy things that you don’t need. You can shop with precision at www.mygrocerydeals.com. Create and print your list, and stay within budget.

2. Never pay full price! Get coupons for items you want at www.coolsavings.com, and others.

3. Be flexible! If what you want isn’t on sale, and you don’t have a coupon available, buy store brands. Sometimes you can save as much as a dollar an item. If you buy thirty things, you’ve just saved 30 dollar.

If I was going to add another tip, it would be to never shop when you are hungry. I’ve entered the grocery store hungry and came out with everything from 3 different bags of chips, to an energy drink  that the “sample oasis” was handing out in aisle 3. To avoid going over budget, have a list/plan, take coupons, and be frugal and you can save money grocery shopping.
